Why We Are Phasing Out Eventbrite
If you have been trying to book a weekend workshop in London recently, you already know the drill. You log onto a massive, cluttered event directory, click through a dozen corporate pop-ups, dodge paid ads and try to find an intimate, boutique experience hidden beneath hundreds of mass-market listings.
Frankly, it doesn’t quite match the premium, unhurried sensory rest we pride ourselves on at The Scent of Burnout®.
When we design an experience in our sunlit, air-conditioned Bermondsey conservatory, every single detail is curated. From the exact therapeutic note of the dōTERRA essential oils to the chill of the prosecco and the fresh crunch of the vegetarian spreads, we build sanctuaries.
We felt our digital booking experience should feel like a sanctuary, too.
Enter Luma
A few months ago, my business coach David Corbishley introduced me to Ayomide Ibrahim, who showed me a platform that completely blew me away: Luma.
It is clean, minimalist, elegant, and entirely focused on premium curation. No clutter, just a sleek, beautiful space for our community to gather.
We are officially transitioning our entire summer calendar over to Luma. While our Eventbrite listings remain active for the time being, we are running both platforms side-by-side until Eventbrite becomes completely obsolete for our brand.
Grab the Final 5 Slots for This Saturday
To celebrate our new digital storefront, we have integrated our flagship collaborative event with Karo from The K Designs for this Saturday, 30th May at 4:00 PM: Flow & Glow.
It’s a 3-hour offline detachment from screens and corporate stress, split into two luxurious phases:
The Flow: Chilled prosecco, fresh snacks, and intuitive canvas painting led by resident artist Karo from The K Designs Art
The Glow: Hand-pouring your own premium soy wax candle with a crackling wood wick, infused with custom aromatherapy blends guided by me.
If you are ready to trade screen fatigue for genuine tactile luxury close to home in SE1, come test out the sleek, effortless new checkout on Luma.
(And yes, if you are a traditionalist, our old-school Eventbrite link is still technically active too, but we highly recommend checking out the upgrade!)
